Members at Harish-chandra Research Institute Work in Mathematics and Theoretical Physics. The Centre for String Interactions is a Group in Theoretical Physics Department Working on String Theory and Related Topics Like, Supersymmetric Gauge Theories, Holography, Etc. At Present the Centre for String Interactions Has 6 Permanent Members, 5 Post-doctoral Fellows and 6 Graduate Students. The Group Has an Active Visitor Programme With Visitors Ranging From Graduate Students Doing Their Masters Thesis to Senior Faculty Members.

The Centre Has Organised Several Activities Like Conferences, Workshops and Schools Based on the Topics of Current Interest in String Theory. Besides These Activities, the Centre Regularly Organises the String Theory Seminar.
